Product FAQ
Yes. Skin build-up shows up as blemishes and other forms of irritation. Consider incorporating bath salts as a detox to help balance your skin.
We have found the best results come from starting with a mild, moisturizing body wash, followed by a hydrating moisturizer, formulated for quick absorption. We recommend either the Desert Sage or Wild Primrose line. You will love the results
Healthy adult skin is approximately 50 percent water. Actual water content affects skin softness and flexibility. Skin loses water through evaporation, especially in a hot, arid climate and during extreme winter months. General health also plays a significant part in the condition of your skin.
Lack of moisture in the air is the primary cause of static electricity in hair. Sun, wind, and harsh shampoos are also factors. Winter seems to be the worst season for static electricity because forced-air heating systems rob hair of moisture needed to remain static free.
All ingredients originate from organic matter, including plants and minerals.
Hair differs in texture and general health. Clary and Cucumber Daily Shampoo and Conditioner are great for all hair types. If your hair is coarse, curly, or sun damaged, you will love the Crimson Clove line.
No product is 100 percent hypoallergenic. We use the purest ingredients to minimize sensitivity.
The word "alcohol" is misleading because many people associate a drying agent (ethanol) with the use of alcohol. Tijeras products contain cetyl alcohol, a fatty alcohol derived from palm kernels. Cetyl alcohol is used as an emollient and conditioning agent for softening the hair cuticle.
We use Phenoxyethanol, a safe and effective preservative, and Ethylhexylglycerin, a skin conditioner and preservative. Both preservatives are derived from vegetable sources and are less than 1 percent of the product.
